My participants explained the ways in which they were satisfied or dissatisfied with the care they have received from their primary care doctor, which influenced their attitude toward it.

Ashley

Ashley encountered misleading online advertisements while searching for her first health insurance plan. She explained that in the same way that cheap fast-food restaurants, i.e. Taco Bell, are not always a good, healthy choice to eat, "the cheap option isn't always the best option for you" in healthcare, as well. She felt healthcare.gov and the private insurance offered by her employer were pushed on her with little explanation of benefits.
